1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account or using ChorePub ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
ChorePub is a household chore management application that provides rotating schedules, point-based rewards, activity feeds, and collaborative tools for household members. The Service is provided "as is" and may be modified or discontinued at any time.
3. Account Responsibilities
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must provide accurate information when creating your account and keep it up to date. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Service to upload illegal, harmful, or offensive content; harass or bully other users; attempt to gain unauthorized access to other accounts or systems; or interfere with the operation of the Service.
5. User Content
You retain ownership of content you create on ChorePub (chore names, photos, messages, etc.). By posting content, you grant us a limited license to store, display, and transmit that content as necessary to operate the Service. You are solely responsible for the content you upload.
6. Points and Rewards
Points earned within ChorePub have no monetary value and cannot be exchanged for cash. Household administrators define custom rewards and their fulfillment. ChorePub is not responsible for the fulfillment of custom rewards.
7. Account Deactivation and Termination
We reserve the right to deactivate or terminate accounts that violate these terms or for any other reason at our discretion. Deactivated users will be unable to access the Service. You may request account deletion at any time by contacting support.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ChorePub and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you have paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.
9. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. We will notify users of material changes by posting the updated terms on this page.
